Minister of Interior Inspects Passports and Civil Registry Departments

Lieutenant General of Police, Babiker Samra Mustafa, Minister of Interior, reviewed the administrative and technical arrangements of the Civil Registry and Passports Departments during his inspection visit.
The visit was attended by Lieutenant General of Police, Khalid Hassan Mohi El-Din, Director General of the Police Forces; Lieutenant General (Police), Abdel Moneim Mohamed Abdel Gayyum, Head of the Financial Affairs Authority; and Lieutenant General (Police), Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed Shamin, Head of the Administrative Affairs Authority.

The Minister of Interior received a comprehensive briefing on the progress of work at the General Directorate of Civil Registry from Major General, Khojali Khairallah, Director of the Public Affairs Department at the General Directorate of Civil Registry.
During the briefing, he reviewed the work plan for rehabilitating buildings and maintenance work, as well as the study of the data center.
He also reviewed the restoration of electricity and network services, which are proceeding according to the established plans.

Major General (Police) Nasreddin Mohamed Fadl Al-Mawla, Director of the Foreigners Department at the General Directorate of Passports and Immigration, confirmed the completion of work at the Abu Adam Center, which will provide passport and civil registry services to the region’s citizens.
This comes after the completion and operation of the Halfaya and Karari centers, and the commencement of work at the Bahri and East Nile centers.

A police press source said that the Minister of Interior emphasized the need to provide passport, civil registry, and vehicle licensing services to the state’s citizens in their areas of residence through service centers spread across all Khartoum State localities.
He emphasized the commitment of the Ministry of Interior and the Police Forces Command to provide all necessary equipment and technical support.
