Khartoum Governor Inaugurates Kidney Dialysis Center in Kadaru

Governor of Khartoum State, Ahmed Osman Hamza, , inaugurated the resumption of service of the Kidney Dialysis Center at Kadaru Health Center in Khartoum North Locality today, after a two-year hiatus due to the war.
The opening was attended by the Director General of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Fath Al-Rahman Mohamed Al-Amin; the Executive Director of Khartoum North Locality, Abdulrahman Ahmed Abdulrahman; the Director of Kidney Centers in Khartoum State, Dr. Osman Al-Zubair; the directors of the ministry’s general departments; officials from the Popular Resistance; and a large crowd of citizens from the area.
Addressing the attendees at the center’s opening ceremony, Khartoum State Governor Ahmed Osman Hamza emphasized the importance of citizens being a key partner in rebuilding and providing services in Khartoum State.
He emphasized the importance of restoring services to health centers, given their proximity to citizens’ homes in the state’s various localities, and of providing services quickly to those seeking them.
He directed that the necessary audits be conducted to ensure the necessary health personnel are available to facilitate the operation of the Kadro Health Center, and to provide all necessary medical supplies to the dialysis center to alleviate the suffering of patients. Osman also donated 10 million Sudanese pounds for a water well in the Kadaru area, in support of the community support provided for the well. He also emphasized the need for regular weed removal and cleaning of agricultural lands in the area, as well as the provision of seeds by the competent authorities at the Ministry of Agriculture, starting tomorrow, to mitigate the fragility caused by the war and the systematic destruction perpetrated by the militias in all sectors of the state.
For his part, Dr. Fath Al-Rahman Mohamed Al-Amin, Director General of the Ministry of Health in Khartoum State, pledged to find solutions to all the challenges facing the Al-Kadaru Health Center, ensuring its efficient operation and ensuring the pharmacy’s daily supply of medicines. He emphasized that the reopening of the dialysis center at the Al-Kadaru Health Center represents a significant addition to strengthening health services in Khartoum North Locality, which the Ministry of Health is working to complete during this phase, alleviating the suffering of dialysis patients.

Abdel-Rahman Ahmed Abdel-Rahman, Executive Director of Khartoum North Locality, noted that the opening of the dialysis center and its return to service has ended the suffering of patients in Khartoum North Locality, who had been traveling long distances to receive medical care.
He praised the significant role of the citizens of Khartoum North Locality and the Resistance and Popular Support Committees for their significant role and cooperation in preparing the environment for citizens’ return to the locality, as well as their coordination with the Ministry of Health and the locality to reopen the center.
The head of the Popular Resistance in Khartoum North Locality, Major General Abdullah Mustafa, announced the readiness of the Popular Resistance Committees to support all efforts to restore services in the locality, contributing to the stability of Khartoum North’s citizens.
Abdul Rahman Al-Siddiq, representative of the citizens of the Kadaru area, welcomed the Governor of Khartoum State, the Minister of Health, and the attendees, stressing that the area is witnessing complete security stability, and that it has two centers for secondary school exams.
