Higher Education: More than 30,000 students apply electronically to universities on the fourth day of application

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohamed Hassan Dahab, received a report from the General Directorate of Information Technology and Networks, explaining the progress of the process on its fourth day, corresponding to Wednesday, July 1. The Undersecretary expressed his satisfaction with the smooth application procedures through the website, praising the great efforts made by the technical teams and working cadres to ensure the continuity of work with high efficiency. Prof. Mohamed Hassan Dahab also called on students and parents to carefully review the electronic directory and enter their preferences accurately to ensure better chances of admission to the general admission (first round).

Engineer Dr. Babiker Hussein Ahmed, Director General of the General Department of Information Technology and Networks at the Ministry, explained that the number of applicants until the fourth day amounted to about 30,000 students representing 35% of the target number for admission at this stage. He also pointed out that the report showed a significant increase in the number of applicants from the states of Khartoum, Gezira and Red Sea, with expectations that this growth will continue in the coming days.
