Arrangements for the First Youth Conference in Sudan

Sovereignty Council member Dr. Salma Abdul-Jabbar Al-Mubarak directed the need to prioritize youth issues, harness their energies in construction and reconstruction, and involve them in planning post-war renaissance and development projects.
During her meeting today with the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ms. Hazar Abdul-Rasoul Al-Ajab, the Sovereignty Council member was briefed on the ongoing arrangements for the First Youth Conference in Sudan and the African Youth Conference.
The meeting reviewed important files within the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the planned amendments to the Youth and Sports Law to make it more flexible and enhance the prestige of the state and the authority of the ministry.
For her part, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Hazar Abdul-Rasoul, stated that despite the war, Sudan has been present in all regional and international forums, including the Olympics, noting that Sudanese national teams continue to compete to reach the global podium.
The Undersecretary of Youth and Sports added that the Ministry worked to organize all youth organizations and sponsor their activities, which contributed to the youth playing a growing role in the battle for dignity, providing humanitarian and kind aid, and caring for prisoners. They embodied a comprehensive heroic epic that confirms that Sudanese youth are imbued with national values.
