SudanAir Launches Large-Scale Volunteer Campaign to Maintain and Rehabilitate Company Buildings in Khartoum

The Director General of Sudan Airways (SudanAir), Captain Mazen Al-Awad, directed the company’s employees to launch a large-scale volunteer campaign to maintain and rehabilitate the company’s presidential buildings and facilities at Khartoum Airport, as part of preparations for the resumption of operations at Khartoum International Airport.

Captain Mazen called on all capable employees residing near the presidential headquarters or the company’s offices at the airport to participate in this national effort.

He emphasized that today’s activity did not constitute an official work day, but rather a voluntary mobilization to clean the buildings and restore what was destroyed by the war, in preparation for the company’s resumption of operations and its effective return to its duties after Khartoum International Airport officially resumes operations.

A responsible source at the company added that this initiative reflects the spirit of national belonging among SudanAir employees and their keenness to contribute to the rebuilding and development of the national carrier in preparation for the next phase.
