Ministry of Education in Khartoum announces the results of the primary school certificate exams

In the presence of the Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Osman Hamza, the Ministry of Education in Khartoum State announced the results of the primary school certificate exams postponed from 2024. The Director General of the Ministry of Education, Dr. Qarib Allah Mohamed Ahmed, revealed that the pass rate reached 71.3%. This was revealed during a general meeting at the ministry’s headquarters in Khartoum North, attended by several members of the Khartoum State government and education leaders.
The Governor of Khartoum announced the top ten students, with student Minatallah Ihab Fath Al-Haleem coming in first place with a score of 279 points from Abu Dhar Al-Kouda School in Karari locality. The Governor said, “We must learn lessons from the new Hijri year, as we have migrated from suffering to relative relief.” He praised the Ministry of Education and its partners who did their duty despite the war conditions.
He emphasized that the state’s concern now is to continue the education process by restoring the teaching and learning process, which comes under the slogan “Education Does Not Wait.” He praised the steadfastness of the state’s citizens who endured all violations during the war and their continuous appeals to open schools.
Director General of the Ministry of Education, Dr. Qarib Allah Mohamed Ahmed, praised those who contributed to the stability of the educational process and the normalization of civil life, with the support of the Governor of Khartoum and members of his government, and the tight and joint coordination between the state and the Federal Ministry of Education in conducting the postponed secondary school certificate exams for 2023.
He pointed out that the stability witnessed by the state contributed to addressing the delay in the academic year, so that the state ranked third after the River Nile and Northern states in the stability of studies. He pointed out that this stability contributed to the success of the intermediate and primary school certificate exams, and the expected announcement of the intermediate school certificate next week, and the start of the postponed secondary school certificate exams for 2024 next Sunday. Qarib Allah pointed to the general indicators of the results, which came without deletion in the sixth grade primary curriculum, with the curriculum taught in full, and that the students took the exams with complete calm, completing the curriculum in a reasonable time, and moving students from a circle of frustration to a circle of optimism.
He pointed to the results of the local exams, the percentages of which were as follows: Khartoum 61%, Jebel Aulia 57.5%, Ombada 66.5%, and Karari 77.3%

East Nile 67.8%
Khartoum North 74.1%
