The National Health Insurance Fund in Blue Nile State held a meeting under the chairmanship of Dr. Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, Director of the branch, and the Secretariat of the Zakat Bureau, headed by Noureddine Suleiman, in the presence of a number of directors of departments from both sides.

The branch manager praised the effective partnership between the two institutions in resolving outstanding issues and appealed to the secretariat to adhere to the outputs of the Supreme Six-Party Committee to pay the debts of 2023, 2024, and the first half of 2025, in addition to speeding up the review of the data of covered households through the Zakat Bureau in the region, which now amounts to 13,044 families, and to complete it to 18,000 families according to the outputs of the Supreme Committee.

While the Secretary of the Bureau confirmed their commitment to pay the debts through a satisfactory schedule after communicating with the General Secretariat of the Bureau, they also considered postponing payment for the last quarter of this year. Additionally, they secured the addition of four thousand new families under the umbrella of health insurance, in addition to continuing to renew the cards of old families.
