Inclusion of the British Hospital in the facilities of the additional packages for health insurance in the Gezira State

Director of the National Health Insurance Fund in the Gezira State, Al-Amin Hussein Omar, discussed during his meeting at the British Hospital in Madani with Abdul Hafeez Abdullah Abdul Hafeez, Consultant Orthopedic and Joint Surgeon and Director General of the British Hospital in Madani, ways to provide additional service packages to cardholders in the hospital in order to enhance his administration’s efforts to expand the facilities for providing these additional service packages.

The Director of Health Insurance addressed the importance of integration and quality of services, stressing the commitment to meet financial liabilities.

The Director of the British Hospital emphasized the importance of cooperation with health insurance to serve the community and stated that the hospital has sought since its inception to localize specialized medical services, pointing to the provision of general surgery services, digestive system operations, liver, joints, and plastic surgery, in addition to the specialties of women, obstetrics, internal medicine and children, and the hospital also provides all diagnostic and laboratory tests and said that the hospital works according to a computerized system that reduces waiting time.
