Free Treatment Camp for Returnees from South Sudan at Camp Karama 6

The National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) Blue Nile Region Branch inaugurated a free treatment camp for the last groups of returnees from South Sudan at Karama 6 camp in Pau Governorate. Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed Fawzy, Director of the Department of Health Services in the branch, indicated that the camp comes in fulfillment of the promise made by the director of the branch to provide medical and diagnostic services to all returnees until their return to their villages. He pointed out that the camp will last for two days and will include specialists in obstetrics, sound waves, general practitioners’ clinics, an integrated laboratory, pharmacy, and nursing services. The target is to serve more than one thousand five hundred patients.
