He added, “The Sudanese army is steadily moving forward to achieve victory over the rebel Rapid Support Forces.”

The Prime Minister stated that the armed forces and their supporting forces had made great efforts and sacrifices, sending a message to the world that “the Sudanese Armed Forces are strong and capable of defeating the rebellion and achieving stability throughout the country,” according to the agency.
Idriss made an inspection visit to the Red Sea Military Region Command on Saturday, where he was received by Lieutenant General Mahjoub Bushra, Commander of the Red Sea Military Region, in the presence of the Governor of the Red Sea State, Lieutenant General Mustafa Mohamed Nour, and the region’s leaders.
