Deputy Head of the Sovereignty Council Meets the Prime Minister

Deputy Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander Malik Agar Ayre, met today with Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris and commended him for accepting the duties of Prime Minister at this critical time for the country.
Agar affirmed that the Prime Minister will receive all the support and constructive cooperation from the members of the Sovereignty Council to enable him to perform his duties optimally.
The meeting addressed issues of the civil service, the management of the state, and the importance of coordinating efforts to increase the effectiveness of the executive branch, formulate policies to manage resources, revive the national economy, and activate mechanisms to combat corruption.
He emphasized the important role of women and youth in building the Sudan of the future.
The meeting also discussed Sudan’s foreign relations and how to build sound relations that take into account Sudan’s interests and preserve its regional and international balance, as well as how to preserve the Juba Peace Agreement.
