Sovereignty Council members Dr. Salma Abdel-Jabbar and Dr. Nawara Abu Mohammed Mohamed Taher take oath before Al-Burhan

Dr. Salma Abdel-Jabbar Al-Mubarak and Dr. Nawara Abu Mohammed Mohamed Taher took the oath today before the Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, as members of the Sovereignty Council.
The oath was attended by the Secretary-General of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Dr. Mohamed Al-Gali Ali Youssef, and the Chief Justice of the Red Sea State, representing the Chief Justice.
In a press statement, Dr. Salma expressed her appreciation to the Head of the Sovereignty Council for the confidence he placed in her to assume this position, praising the great victories achieved by the armed forces on all fronts of operations during the War of Dignity, thanking the Sudanese people’s support for their armed forces.
Dr. Salma offered her condolences for all the martyrs of the Battle of Dignity, both military and civilian, who sacrificed their lives for the dignity and honor of the Sudanese people.
For her part, Dr. Nuwwara stated that she would do everything in her power to advance Sudan, indicating that she would dedicate all her efforts to serving the Sudanese people and achieving prosperity and a dignified life for them.
