Ministry of Higher Education praises the performance of the National Fund for Student Welfare in Khartoum State

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research,Prof.Mohamed Hassan Dahab, praised the great role played by the administration of the National Fund for Student Welfare in Khartoum State, and its contribution to the rehabilitation of a number of interiors of the state, this came when he visited a number of student housing internships in Khartoum State and met with Dr. Mohamed Kamal, Secretary General of the Khartoum State Fund, and a number of secretaries of secretariats, where the Minister was briefed on the conditions of the interiors and what they require from concerted efforts to rehabilitate them so that students of educational institutions are accommodated Professor Dahab praised the Fund’s roles on the ground, which pushes everyone to stand with it to push the process of higher education forward.

The minister also praised the employees of the Fund and their sacrifices, stressing that the reconstruction phase needs concerted efforts, and valued the efforts of the Governor of Khartoum State and his assistants in enabling the University Security Police to play their role, especially after the announcement of cleansing Khartoum State from the filth of the rebel Rapid Support militias.

Dr. Mohamed Kamal expressed his great happiness for the minister’s visit to Khartoum State, which comes as part of his inspection visits to higher education institutions, to find out about them in the field, stressing that the management of the Student Welfare Fund in Khartoum State represents a basic base in the Fund’s work, as it embraces most governmental, private and private higher education institutions, adding that the reconstruction of interiors represents a challenge according to the strategic plan prepared by the Fund’s employees.
