Al-Idrisi Voluntary Organization organizes a training course on environmental sanitation and malaria control

Within the framework of its social responsibility towards community solidarity and health education to maintain the safety of citizens, the Al-Idrisi Voluntary Organization organized a training course for young people on environmental sanitation and malaria control. Dr. Nusseibeh, from the Health Office in Sharq Al-Nile Locality, gave a presentation on the life cycle of mosquitoes and the control of the larval stage. She stated that mosquitoes can live both indoors and outdoors.
She emphasized the importance of home inspections and following health guidelines that would reduce the increase in mosquito breeding inside homes. Messages were sent to young people to prevent the improper storage of water to stop the breeding of mosquitoes in homes, highlighting the effectiveness of the inspections currently taking place in reducing the density of the carriers in homes.
She pointed out the importance of combating both the larval phase and the flying phase to combat diseases transmitted by mosquitoes and appealed to the community to take action.
For his part, Badreddine Hay, a member of the popular committee in Shaqla in Sharq Al Nile locality, congratulated the joint armed forces, intelligence, police, and popular resistance, as well as the supporting forces, for defeating the remnants of the rebellion.
Khadija Saeed, President of the Organization, thanked the youth for attending the training course and all those who contributed to the success of this day.
It is worth noting that the Al-Idrisi Voluntary Organization, a non-profit organization working in the field of humanitarian work, targets all segments of society, including children, youth, the elderly, orphans, poor families, homeless children, and children with disabilities. It focuses on volunteering in humanitarian work, including the treatment of chronic diseases and the distribution of medicines for free, establishing maternal and child health centers, and caring for orphans and needy families.
