Workshop on data collection for the national civil society organizations convenes

A training workshop on data collection for the national survey of civil society organizations working in the health field (mapping civil society organizations) was launched at the Tulus Hotel in Kassala State, targeting 5 states.

The Acting Director of the General Department of Basic Health Care at the Federal Health, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Abdullah, stressed that the workshop comes within the framework of the Ministry’s joint endeavor to enhance cooperation and coordinate efforts, and build an integrated database that reflects the reality and capabilities of civil society organizations working in the health field in the country, which represents an important step towards a better understanding of the scene, by identifying actors, assessing their capabilities and areas of intervention, which allows building more effective partnerships and directing support and resources more efficiently.
Abdullah said that training in the field of national survey represents the cornerstone in enhancing capabilities to collect and analyze accurate data, which in turn represents the basis for making evidence-based decisions, and planning more effective health programs that respond to the needs of society, noting that the study population any structures that provide health interventions and services.
