The NHIF completes the restoration of eye services in all of the Makkah hospitals

The Director General of the National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF), Dr. Farouk Nour Al-Daem Omar, revealed the completion of the restoration of eye services in all hospitals in Makkah throughout Sudan. This came during his meeting with Dr. Al-Aas Ahmed Kamel, Regional Director of Al-Basr Charitable Foundation.

Dr. Farouk explained that preparations have been made to restore the eye service for the basic package and the additional package in the state of Gezira through Makkah Hospital in Medani, and that the position of the service in the states is good. He thanked Al-Basr Foundation for the continuation of the partnership. It was agreed to establish camps in the states of Gezira and Sennar in response to the humanitarian situation and treatment days for other states.

For his part, Al-Aas stressed that the partnership with the National Health Insurance Fund is at the heart of our goals in providing eye services, and we will commit to providing devices and specialists for free camps ,provided that the health insurance completes the rest of the medicines and equips centers to receive patients.
