SPLM-N establishes special unit to monitor the RSF officees’ movements in South Kordofan

Identical sources revealed that the leader of the SPLM-N, Abdel Aziz Adam Al-Hilu, issued directives to form a special security information unit directly reporting to him.
The unit aims to monitor the movements of Rapid Support Forces officers in areas under the movement’s control in South Kordofan State.
The sources added that Al-Hilu directed Colonel Al-Baqir Hamdan, currently in Nairobi, to return immediately to oversee this task.
The same sources confirmed that this unit was established outside the traditional structure of the movement’s military intelligence apparatus and is directly under the supervision of the movement’s leader.
Observers believe that this move reflects a state of apprehension and mistrust within the movement toward Rapid Support Forces elements, and may indicate undisclosed disagreements between the two parties amid the complex field conditions in the region.
