The Federal Chamber of the Campaign for the Distribution of Preventive Mass Treatment for Lymphocytic Filariasis (Elephantiasis) in Kassala State held its second meeting in the hall of the Federal Emergency Operations Center at the Public Health Laboratory in Kassala, presenting the progress reports of the campaign from its first day yesterday in the six localities in the state.
The meeting, attended by the Acting Director of the General Administration of Basic Health Care, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Abdullah, reviewed the health promotion report, which included community dialogues, media in mosques, health messages, and activities in the media, television, and radio, as well as social media. It also covered individual and collective guidance for community leaders and mobile microphones, noting the problems and challenges.
The Acting Director of the General Department of Basic Health Care, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Abdullah, directed that a deadline be set for receiving reports from the communication officials .
