SFPA inaugurates the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department at Shendi Teaching Hospital

As part of the joint cooperation between the Sudanese Family Planning Association (SFPA) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and in coordination with the Ministry of Health in River Nile State,
the Association inaugurated the Gynecology and Obstetrics Department this morning at Shendi Government Hospital after maintenance and rehabilitation work.
The opening ceremony was attended by Ms. Kawthar Mohamed Ibrahim, Executive Director of the SFPA at the branch; Mr. Ibrahim Hussein, the representative of the Federal Association Presidency; Dr. Salma Mohamed Ali, Director of the General Administration of Primary Health Care at the Ministry of Health; and Mr. Mohamed Taha, the representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The maintenance and rehabilitation work at Shendi Teaching Hospital is being carried out with the efforts and valuable support of UNFPA, in cooperation with the SFPA, River Nile State Branch.
