Kenya Scandal!

● Kenyan authorities arrested a large number of militia native administration members carrying counterfeit dollars while exchanging and purchasing gold from the gold market.

● A complaint was received from several exchanges to the tourist police stating that individuals were carrying large quantities of counterfeit US dollars which they intended to sell and distribute within the local market.

● The team took action and arrested a number of perpetrators. It was determined that they were affiliated with the Rapid Support Forces and that they were native leaders who had come to Nairobi to form a new government. They were taken to the police station, placed under guard, a report was filed against them, and held forget 24 hours pending the completion of investigations.

● Abdyel Rahim Dagalo and Al-Qoni intervened, and the Minister of Interior was contacted. He promised to keep the matter completely confidential, fearing the media and tarnishing the image of the Rapid Support Forces as an institution.

● On the second day, the UAE ambassador intervened to resolve the issue with the Minister of Interior. They were released after 48 hours, after they signed a pledge to leave the country immediately, and were placed on a ban list to prevent them from re-entering.

● The militia tried to keep this matter secret for fear of the opposing media.

● Abdul Rahim Daglo asked one of the leaders, “Where did you get these counterfeit dollars from?” His response was, “These are the dollars you pay to our
sons who are recruited in the RSF as salaries and incentives.”
