Head of the Sovereignty Council Arrives in Asmara

Head of the Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, arrived today in the Eritrean capital, Asmara, in an official visit.
He was received at Asmara International Airport by President Isaias Afwerki and members of the Sudanese mission to Eritrea.
An official reception ceremony was held for the Head of the Sovereignty Council.

Al-Burhan will hold talks with President Isaias Afwerki on ways to strengthen and advance bilateral relations between the two countries to achieve the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples, in addition to issues of common interest.

Head of the Sovereignty Council is accompanied during the visit by the Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufadal.
