GIS seizes currency printing machines stolen from the Mint building in Khartoum

A force from the General Intelligence Service (GIS) was able to seize currency printing machines stolen from the Mint building in Khartoum.

Sources revealed that the machines were used by the Rapid Support Forces militia to print millions of counterfeit currency notes and distribute them in markets under their control.
According to information, some of the seized printers were found to have been imported from outside Sudan.

The same force also seized cannons left behind by the militia in residential neighborhoods.
