Equipment for health promotion at a cost of more than EGP 300 mn

The Federal Ministry of Health, in cooperation with the Kuwait Patients Aid Fund and with the support of UNICEF, has launched health promotion equipment to support the increased demand for routine vaccination.
The Director of the Health Promotion Department, Tawdad Abdullah Al-Khodr, referred to the inauguration in favor of a number of states, especially since the war destroyed many aids, and now we have begun to provide them, thanking UNICEF for its continuous support and appreciating the partnership with the Kuwaiti Patients Aid Fund.
The national expert for behavior change in immunization at UNICEF, Mohammed Ahmed Abu al-Qassim, said that the aids include 272 microphones, wall panels containing the vaccination schedule (1400 panels), in addition to 1500 paintings used to educate mothers, and posters for the most important diseases that are prevented through immunization, such as polio, measles, rubella, and tetanus, amounting to 3000 posters, in addition to 4500 bibs, at a cost of 360 million Sudanese pounds, in preparation for distribution to the states, and added that the distribution began to promote health in Kassala state.
The targeted States include Northern, River Nile, White Nile, and Blue Nile States.
