Al-Burhan Meets Head of the Libyan National Unity Government

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah al-Burhan, met with the Head of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Mohammed al-Dibaiba, on the sidelines of his participation in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum 2025, hosted by the Turkish city of Antalya.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop and strengthen it in various fields.
They also discussed developments in Sudan and key issues and developments of mutual interest.

The meeting emphasized the importance of unifying political positions on several regional issues andar supporting efforts to achieve security, stability, and peace in Sudan.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Nader Youssef, Sudan’s Ambassador to Turkey, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufadal, Director of the General Intelligence Service, and Lieutenant General Mirghani Idris, Director of the Defense Industries Organization.
