Political crisis in Nairobi due to the draft constitution and the dissolution of West Kordofan State

The Kenyan capital Nairobi witnessed a major crisis after the signing of the political declaration, after leaks that stated that the amended draft constitution, which was amended by the delegation of the SPLM, included cancellation of West Kordofan State by redistributing its localities between North and South Kordofan states.
The controversial proposal is to annex the northern localities of West Kordofan state to North Kordofan state, while the southern localities of South Kordofan state are attached to the Nuba Mountains.
The amendment sparked widespread rejection among the people of West Kordofan, which led to an unprecedented escalation of disputes, a matter that led to the convening of a meeting, which included Abdel Rahim Dagalo, and Fadlallah Burma Nasir, in an attempt to calm the situation.
The meeting did not come up with decisive decisions, as the participants were satisfied with unconfirmed assurances that the rights of West Kordofan people would not be wasted.
Identical sources reported that Al-Hilu and the delegation of the SPLM adhered to the subordination of the areas of Lagwa El-Kubra, and El-Beeja, and Kailik, to the Nuba Mountains region, which was strongly rejected by the leaders of the Misseriya and the sons of West Kordofan, which led to the disruption of the procedures for forming technical and joint committees to choose the government, where the mediation is still working to contain the situation.
In the same context, the civil administrations held a meeting in the house of Mukhtar Babu Nimir, in which they signed an official memorandum submitted to each of the deputy commander of the Rapid Support Forces and the leadership of the SPLM, declaring its categorical rejection of any attempt to abolish or divide West Kordofan State.
