Khartoum Health reviews the challenges of confronting openness in Khartoum North and East Nile localities

The Ministry of Health, Khartoum State, revealed in the regular meeting of the Director General Council, which was held under the chairmanship of the Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, and in the presence of the directors of the departments in his ministry and the state, the challenges that the ministry faced during the previous stage, and the next stage that witnesses openings and progress for the army after the liberation of Khartoum North and East Nile localities.
Dr. Fath Al-Rahman Mohamed Al-Amin, Director General of the Ministry of Health, Khartoum State, the Minister in charge and the directors of his general and sub-departments, put the most important challenges on the meeting table before the Federal Minister of Health.
For his part, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, the Federal Minister of Health, reassured those present at the meeting that mechanisms would be found to address the challenges, and stressed that the Federal Ministry of Health’s commitment to Khartoum’s health is ongoing and firm.
At the same time, he held the ministry responsible for providing a safe and healthy environment for citizens returning to Khartoum North and East Nile localities, before linking the voluntary return of citizens to the two localities to the ministry’s verification of the safety of drinking water.
He stressed the need to establish tight control over epidemic diseases in the return areas, and directed the focus on health centers in the localities to provide health services in them to ease the burden on citizens.
