Khartoum Governor calls on Saving Bank to provide financing to help the citizens who are deficient in the re-furnishing of their homes and the financing of means that provide them with income.

Khartoum Governor Khartoum, Ahmed Othman Hamza, inaugurated today the branch of the Savings Bank for Social Development in Omdurman, in the presence of the Director-General of the Ministry of Social Development, Siddiq Freeni, and the Acting Director of the Khartoum State Security Authority, Major General Amen Al-Waleed Bayoumi, and the Director of the Sudan Bank branch in Omdurman, Haider Abbas.
The Director-General of the Ministry of Social Development, Siddiq Freeni, said that the Savings Bank started its activity long time ago, with the distribution of direct cash support provided by the Federal Ministry of Social Development through the Social Safety Commission.
He added that this opening confirms that the wellness has returned to Omdurman, expressing hope that all institutions working in the social field will return to be consistent with the great conquests achieved by the Battle of Dignity.
Khartoum Governor, Ahmed Othman Hamza, said that they were waiting for this step some time ago, in the context of the state’s encouragement to the institutions of the public and private sectors to carry out their activities from within Omdurman, to Fund the citizens to re-furnish their homes, besides creating productive projects as a source of income for them.
The governor praised the bank’s efforts to distribute cash support to poor families, a. matter that led to stability in this sector, which is at the top of the social support priorities, and the governor praised the savings bank’s decision to allow microfinance to help citizens open accounts in the bank.
