The Technical Committee of the National Campaign for Vector Control and Environmental Sanitation confirmed the decrease in the density rate of vectors as a result of the campaign implemented in a number of states, indicating a decrease in positivity from 30% to 1%.

The Director of the General Department of Basic Health Care at the Federal Ministry of Health, Chairperson of the Committee in the third meeting, stressed the need to carry out routine work to preserve what has been achieved and ensure the continuation of control work, while sending letters to the relevant ministries and governors to support routine, as well as mobilizing resources at all levels.

The report presented during the meeting recommended increasing support to target the largest number of localities, supporting the maintenance of vehicles, coordinating with partners and attracting the support of the local component, activating routine work, and providing work aids.
