SFPA (River Nile State) Lainches Department of Obstetrics in Ed-Damar

Sudanese Family Planning Association (SFPA), River Nile State, Atbara launched, today, Wednesday, February 19, 2025, within the framework of the joint cooperation between the SFPA and the United Nations Population Fund, launched the Obstetrics Department in Ed-Damar Teaching Hospital.
The launching ceremony was attended by River Nile State Health Minister, Dr. Majda Abdallah, Al-Shafee Mohamed Ali, Executive Director of the Sudanese Family Planning Association, and the representative of the United Nations Population Fund, Dr. Khaled and the specialists from the medical staff working in the hospital.
The inauguration came after the maintenance and rehabilitation of the obstetrics and gynecology department, Accidents.. Intermediate care, birth ward and maternity room in the hospital, with estimated effort and support from UNFPA, in cooperation with the Sudanese Family Planning Association, River Nile State branch.
