Nuba Mountains Community Condemns Al-Hilu’s Alliance with the RSF militia

Nuba Mountains community, members of the SPLM/North condemned in strongest words the recent move of Abdul Aziz Al-Hilu and his meeting with the RSF militia and its allies in Nairobi.
In this regard, Comrade Abakar Al-Zubair, Director of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement – Office of the United States of America issued the following statement in which he tendered his resignation from the SPLA/N
A statement and a declaration of resignation to the masses of the SPLM, to the people of the Nuba Mountains
We cannot mortgage our long history of struggle and put our hands with the Janjaweed.
During our long struggle within the SPLM we kept raising our voice, and making sacrifices on the paths of liberation, but today we stand in front of an unforgivable position, an unwashed sin, an unimaginable deviation.
To leader/Abdulaziz Al-Hilu, this is not just a political mistake, nor a tactical step. Rather, it is a resounding fall, and a stab in the side of the Nuba Mountains and its just cause.
How can someone who carried the banner of struggle put his hand in the hands of the criminal Janjaweed?
How can someone who carried the issue of an oppressed people put their hand with the ones who removed the parents in El-Geneina, Lagwa and Habila?
How can we stand up to Fadlallah Barma Nasser, one of the engineers to arm the Baggara against us.
But to see the gun of struggle mortgaged to the racist evil camp that has long worked to glimpse us from the face of life, this is unbearable! The SPLM is the voice of the oppressed, but today, when we see a leader/Al-Hilu stepping and allying with the Janjaweed camp, I will say it clearly: we will not compromise.
What do we say to the widows who lost their husbands in the war? What do we say to the orphans who sleep on dengue, while who is supposed to be their leader, share the killers? Struggle is a long and extended road, but it is not a struggle when it goes in the wrong direction!
We didn’t fight to go back and be another version of our executioners!
I declare my resignation from the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement, so that we will not mortgage our case to the equations of politics and be accomplices of criminals.
History records, and we chose to be on the right side!
