Minister of Federal Governance issues a decision to freeze merger of ministries

Minister of Federal Governance,
Engineer Mohamed Kartkila Saleh
issued a decision to freeze Ministerial Directive No. (6) regarding the formation and merger of ministries in the states.
The decision was based on Article (1/11) of the Decentralized Governance Organization Law, which stipulates the number of ministries in each state and the applicable controls and Ministerial Directive No. (6) of 2024 regarding the formation of a lean government of finance, education and health, and in compliance with presidential directives. The Minister directed to suspend work on Directive No. (6) of 2024 and adhere to the text of Article (1/11) of the Decentralized Governance Organization Law 2020.
