Jaber meets the delegation of the Mobilization and Popular Resistance Committee in East Darfur State

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Assistant Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General Engineer Ibrahim Jaber Ibrahim, met in his office today with the delegation of the Mobilization and Popular Resistance Committee in East Darfur State, headed by Al-Tom Hasab Al-Rasoul Al-Tom.

The member of the Sovereignty Council confirmed the ability of the armed forces, the joint forces and the forces supporting them to defeat the terrorist militia of Al-Dagalo, dispel its settlement project and cleanse all cities of Sudan.

His Excellency pointed to the role of the Mobilization Committee in the state in raising awareness among tribal leaders, the civil administration and all components of the state about the danger of pushing their sons into the ranks of the rebel militia so that they do not fall victim to a proxy war for countries and axes that exploit them for destructive goals and ambitions in the country’s wealth.

For his part, the head of the Supreme Committee for Mobilization and Popular Resistance in East Darfur State explained that he had provided an explanation to the Sovereignty Council member about the committee’s role in the Battle of Dignity, noting that East Darfur represents the depth of the social dimension that the rebel Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo exploited through a negative social mobilization (army) of the ignorant for the benefit of his war against the state, indicating that the committee worked to neutralize a significant number of the state’s sons belonging to the rebel militia and enlightened the local community about the real goals behind this war, hoping to increase community awareness and understanding of the nature of this battle.

Al-Toum referred to the efforts made by the committee in supporting the armed forces and other regular forces and mobilized to defeat the criminal militia project.
