The Federal Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohammed Ibrahim, inaugurated many projects in the northern state, in addition to laying the foundation stone for the central blood bank building in the northern state.

During this ceremonial event, Dr. Haitham Mohammed Ibrahim articulated the essential role that robust blood transfusion services play as a vital component of emergency medical care. He emphasized that ensuring accessibility to safe and reliable blood supplies is crucial, especially in critical situations where timely interventions can be life-saving.

Furthermore, he acknowledged that such infrastructure developments are imperative to fulfill growing demands for medical services across the region.

Dr. Essam El-Din Hassan echoed these sentiments, reinforcing the essential objective of ensuring the utmost safety and quality of blood products. He articulated that the construction of the Central Blood Bank is a pivotal step toward enhancing operational capabilities, thereby assuring the community of the availability of safe blood. The initiative, he indicated, will not only enhance service delivery but also foster public trust in the healthcare system, ultimately advancing public health throughout the northern state.
