Partnership between QRCS and SFPA to support war emergency projects

The Executive Director of the Family Planning Association in Sudan, Al-Shafie Muhammad Ali, welcomed the visit of the Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) delegation to the Family Planning Association in the Nile River State , headed by head of QRCS’s representation office in Sudan Dr. Salah Al-Din Daak
He said in press statements after the meeting that the war represents the largest humanitarian disaster in the world, which requires concerted efforts of international, regional and national organizations and the expansion of effective partnerships in reproductive health.

For his part, Head of QRCS’s representation office in Sudan Dr. Salah Al-Din Daak, announced their readiness to support reproductive health projects and support pregnant women and women of childbearing age in the camps for the displaced.
Dr. Muhammad Al-Senari, the former Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid, praised the Qatar Red Crescent Society for providing support and assistance to the Sudanese people in the health sectors during disasters and crises in the camps for the displaced and the great aid provided by Qatar to those affected by the war in the country through the Qatar Red Crescent Society, stressing that the Sudanese Family Planning Association is A unique model in providing reproductive health projects in the country.
During his visit, he inspected the mobile clinics that provide reproductive health services.
