Minister of Education announces that the secondary school certificate exams will be held on time and reassured the families of the examinees

Minister of Education confirmed that the Sudanese secondary school certificate exams will be held on the scheduled date of December 28, reassuring the families of those sitting for the exams that the security arrangements are very good and comprehensive, including the marking process that will be in the host state called the headquarters state, where all the procedures of the correctors are carried out, indicating that the supervision is done through the union in the state, which received its budget a short time ago.

The Acting Minister of Education, Dr. Ahmed Khalifa Omar, said in the weekly enlightenment of the Ministry of Culture and Information, organized by the Sudan News Agency, to answer questions regarding the arrangements for the postponed secondary school certificate exams for the year 2023, that the Sudan exams are one of the aspects of the battle of dignity and demonstrate the will of the Sudanese people to hold these exams, indicating that these exams will include the batch who were unable to sit for the 2023 exams, in order to achieve justice and equality and based on the recommendation of the committee that was formed.
He pointed out that the number of those sitting for the exams inside Sudan is estimated at 343,6440 thousand, and the number of examinees outside the country is 46,553 thousand students.
He pointed out that no fees are imposed on students and that the government is escaping all costs related to the exam procedures and that the exams were printed with advanced devices despite the ministry losing all the necessary supplies due to the war, but it has remedied this and the exams were printed in the city of Atbara and were not printed outside Sudan.
The Minister of Education pointed out that a number of organizations are directly contributing to providing a meal for students sitting for exams, namely UNICEF, and the UNHCR announced that it will sponsor the transportation of students to the exam centers, pointing out that there are two centers in Atbara and Ed-Damar where students are registered, in addition to 59 centers outside the country, including 25 centers in the Arab Republic of Egypt where 27,000 students are sitting.
