Measles Campaign to begins Sunday in the Gezira State.

The Expanded Program on Immunization at the Federal Ministry of Health announced the implementation of the vaccination campaign with the postponed measles and rubella vaccine in the localities of Al-Manaqil and Al-Qurashi in the Gezira State on Sunday, revealing the coverage of the cholera vaccine in the Red Sea (64%), the River Nile (70%), and the White Nile (43%) in three days.
Program Director Ismail Al-Adani described in a meeting of the Federal Chamber of Cholera and Polio Campaigns on Saturday at the Reproductive Health Hall in Kassala State , the continuation of the implementation of the campaigns in light of the complex circumstances in the country with great work, praising the stationed in the field , “The success in arranging for the campaigns by the program’s workers contributed to the continuation of the campaigns , he added ”
Al-Adani said that the immunization program finds praise from the countries of the Eastern Mediterranean region, who called for providing Sudan’s experience in implementing campaigns despite the reality of the ongoing war.
The head of the chamber, Mohammed Al-Hussein Al-Hajj, revealed the arrangement for the cholera campaign in the localities of Dongola and Dabba in the north on December 29 and will continue until January 3.
