Jaber praises the role of the native administration in promoting peaceful coexistence

Member of the Sovereignty Council, Assistant Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General Engineer Ibrahim Jaber Ibrahim, appreciated the great role played by the native administration in mending the social fabric, rejecting tribal and regional differences, and striving to spread peace, community security, and peaceful coexistence.

His Excellency, during his meeting in his office in Port Sudan yesterday with a delegation from the Chieftains of Bargo Al-Salihab and the Western Region in Qala’ Al-Nahl, headed by honorable Ahmed Yaqoub Youssef, was briefed on the great efforts and services undertaken by the native administration in eastern Sudan in Qala’ Al-Nahl locality, pledging to overcome all obstacles and challenges that hinder the development process and enhance security and stability in the eastern region, especially the completion of the national road linking Qala’ Al-Nahl and Al-Dinder and the rehabilitation of the hospital.

For his part, honorable Baha Ahmed Yaqoub, head of the Supreme Coordination of the Bargo Al-Salihab, explained that the delegation affirmed its support for the armed forces in the battle of dignity to defend the homeland, raise its status and protect its lands.
He stated that the delegation informed the member of the Sovereignty Council of the overall situation in the Qalaa Al-Nahl area and the necessary needs to support and enhance the stability of health and humanitarian services, especially completing the maintenance of the national road linking Gadarif and Al-Dinder and providing the necessary services to citizens.
