Has the Sudanese Revolution met its goals yet?!

By: Alaa babiker

In 2018 the Sudanese revolution started officially by making mass gatherings and public protesting. It was organized and led by very qualified individuals who had great vision for the future of the Sudanese and the country.

The main goals of the Revolution was mainly to make equal of all Sudanese at all parts of the country. To not be valued for belonging to a specific political party, tribe, or group. To rise up with the country and to compete internationally using our own resources rather than secretly trafficking them for singular benifits.

We had great leaders who had amazing visions for the country and its people, but where are they now? Are they working secretly behind the scenes to achieve Sudan unity and prosperity?! Or have they given up the fight and surrender to the country’s unknown faith?!

Have we as Sudanese leaders helped achieving the goals of making peace and bringing democracy?!
It is becoming very difficult to assure the above question. And as the country facing great challenges to keep control over, we are losing main parts of it every day.

The worst case scenario is that we live like the country Libya after the death of their past president. The country is now divided into two parts and each part is ruled by a different government!
Let’s pray hard not to let our country reach this level.

May Allah grant wisdom and positive thinking to our leaders to end this war.
