Hala El Karb’s profound impact resonates through her dedicated advocacy on behalf of victims and survivors of sexual violence in conflict-ridden areas. Through her powerful advocacy work and impactful writings, she has effectively brought forth the voices of these marginalized communities to a global platform, shedding light on their plight and struggles.
This prestigious accolade is a testament to Hala El Karb’s remarkable contributions towards advancing gender justice, empowering women, and fostering a culture of peace. This honor coincided with the international campaign of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence that runs from November 25 to December 10 annually.
