Agar meets Russian ambassador, confirms that Sudan’s relationship with Russia is strategic

Deputy Head of the Sovereignty Council, Commander Malik Agar Ayre, met in his office in Port Sudan today with the Ambassador of the Russian Republic to Sudan, Andrey Chernovol
Agar confirmed that Sudan’s relationship with Russia is a strategic relationship, due to Sudan’s belief that Russia follows a respectable foreign policy based on non-interference in the internal affairs of countries, which is the secret of stable relations between the two countries.
The meeting touched on Sudan’s relations with the West and the role of some of those countries in fueling the conflict and prolonging the war in Sudan.
He added that the Quadripartite Mechanism was an example, as it was used as a tool to destroy political stability in Sudan.
The meeting also discussed the Sudanese government’s strategy in dealing with Western countries in building relations based on the interests of Sudan and its people.
