China Renews Support for Sudan’s Unity and Stability

Foreign Minister Dr. Ali Youssef Ahmed Al-Sharif discussed today with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Sudan, Zhang Xianghua, the development of cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
The Minister stressed the importance of the historical friendship relations between the two countries, which are based on solid foundations of mutual respect and non-infringement of state sovereignty.
He praised the level of coordination between the two countries in international forums, and China’s supportive positions for Sudan in those forums, expressing his aspiration for a greater role for China in the coming stage, especially in reconstruction and building operations.
The Chargé d’Affaires congratulated the Minister on assuming his position, stressing his confidence that relations between the two countries will develop to higher levels of cooperation under his leadership of Sudanese diplomacy.
He also renewed his country’s support for Sudan’s unity and stability.
