Al-Burhan Back Home after participating in the World Urban Forum in Cairo

Head of the Sovereignty Council, 1st. Lt. Gen Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan returned to the country after participating in the World Urban Forum in the Egyptian capital, Cairo.

He was received at Port Sudan International Airport by the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, Acting Prime Minister, Osman Hussein, Lieutenant General Mohamed Al-Ghali Ali Youssef, Secretary-General of the Sovereignty Council, the Governor of the Red Sea, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Egypt to Sudan, Ambassador Hani Salah El-Din Mustafa.

On the sidelines of his participation in the forum, Al-Burhan held bilateral talks with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, which touched on bilateral relations between the two countries.

Al-Burhan also addressed the opening session of the forum.

He was accompanied during his visit to Egypt by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin, and the Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
