Al-Burhan arrives in Riyadh

Head of the Transitional Sovereig2nty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lt. Gen. Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia today, heading the Sudanese delegation participating in the extraordinary Arab and Islamic summit hosted by the Saudi capital, Riyadh, today, with the participation of a number of leaders and heads of state of Arab and Islamic countries.

He was received at King Khalid International Airport by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf, Secretary of the Region, and members of the Sudanese diplomatic mission to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The summit will discuss the repercussions of the continued Israeli aggression on the Palestinian territories and Lebanon, as well as the repercussions of current developments in the region.
