Agar addresses the RSF counter-rebellion symposium

Deputy Head of the Sovereignty Council, Commander Malik Agar Ayre, confirmed that the war currently taking place in Sudan has united the Sudanese people and created a large alignment behind the state and the armed forces.
This came during his address to the Rapid Support Forces counter-rebellion symposium in Port Sudan, in the presence of the member of the Sovereignty Council Abdullah Yahya, the Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Graham Abdul Qader, the Governor of the Red Sea, the heads of the commissions and the media.
Agar discussed the Rapid Support Forces militia rebellion, the reasons and ways to combat it, noting that it represents an ethnic group of Arab diaspora who sought to seize power, exploiting sabotage, violence, looting and robbery, and is driven by an external agenda.
The symposium also touched on popular mobilization, the positives and negatives, calling for the need to set controls for this, in addition to the importance of activating the Disarmament Commission.
Agar also indicated that the war represents the birth of a new page in the history of Sudan to establish a unified national army.
