Sudan and China discuss cooperation in the fields of culture and media

Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Graham Abdul Qader, discussed with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Sudan, Ambassador Zheng Xiang, areas of cooperation and communication between Sudan and China in the files of culture and media and ways to activate and deepen them.
Ambassador Zheng Xiang said in press statements, at the Official Spokesperson’s Platform in Port Sudan yesterday, that the meeting comes within the framework of seeking to develop bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields, especially the files of culture and media.
The Chargé d’Affaires added that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 65th anniversary of the establishment of Sudanese-Chinese relations, expressing his country’s pride in this anniversary, calling for a joint celebration of it, expressing his hope that these distinguished relations will rise continuously.
He added that the meeting touched on the visit of the Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, 1st. Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan, to China at the head of a high-ranking government delegation to participate in the China-Africa Forum last September, describing the participation as successful, indicating that work is currently underway to implement the outcomes
