MoU between Sudanese universities and the Libyan Academy for Graduate Studies Signed

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Mohammed Hassan Dahab, praised the distinguished relations between the Sudanese and Libyan peoples and the importance of developing it with regard to higher education and scientific research.
This came during his visit and his accompanying delegation to the Libyan Academy for Graduate Studies building in Tripoli, at the conclusion of his visit to Libya. During the meeting, which was witnessed by the Vice-Chancellors of Khartoum, Red Sea, West Kordofan and Gedaref universities, many issues and topics of common interest in the field of higher education and scientific research were discussed to serve the two brotherly peoples.
A number of MoUs were signed on cooperation in many scientific, training and advisory fields and activities in conducting scientific research of common interest, exchanging students and faculty members, joint supervision of master’s and PhD heses, and organizing academic programs and professional development programs.
For his part, head of the Libyan Academy, Professor Ramadan Al-Madani, confirmed that the conclusion of the MoU between the Libyan Academy for Postgraduate Studies and Sudanese universities is a step in the right direction in order to benefit commonly, and in an effort to adopt the reasons for progress in the higher education and scientific research sector.
He affirmed their endeavor to develop the Libyan Academy, at all levels, by updating scientific content, study programs, preparing and developing all academy facilities, creating new educational and training horizons, and building bridges of communication, cooperation, and partnerships with the recognized universities.
