Gebeyehu Briefs Kenyan President on the Region’s Situation

The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) Executive Secretary, H.E. Dr Workneh Gebeyehu, met H.E. William Samoel
Ruto, President of Kenya, where the situation in the region and the crucial role Kenya is playing.

After the meeting, Dr Workneh Gebeyehu posted the following on x platform:

“Honored to meet H.E. William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya. I briefed him about the situation in the region as well as underlying the crucial role Kenya is playing .
I thanked him for his strong support and commitment towards Regional cooperation through IGAD.”
