Al-Burhan receives CISSA delegation

Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Armed Forces, 1st. Lieutenant General Abdul Fattah Al-Burhan met today with a delegation from the Committee of Intelligence and Security Services (CISSA) which is currently visiting the country.

Mr. Jackson Amata, Executive Secretary of the CISSA, said in a press statement, that T
the delegation’s visit to Sudan comes within the framework of discussions on the role that CISSA can play to achieve security, stability and peace in Sudan.

It also comes within the scope of CISSA’s mission and role, which aims to assist and support the political and diplomatic efforts undertaken by the African Union Commission to establish security and stability in Africa.
