Agar reviews the performance of the Ministry of Culture and Information

Deputy Head of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Malik Agar Ayre, reviewed the performance of the Ministry of Culture and Information during the past period, the future plans and programs of the ministry, besides the efforts made to support the media apparatus.

This came during his meeting today in Port Sudan with the Acting Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Graham Abdel Qader.

Dr. Graham said in a press statement that he provided an enlightenment to the Deputy Head of the Sovereignty Council on the ministry’s plans in the fields of training and specialized media workshops held in Port Sudan, noting that many platforms were held by the ministry to reflect the results of the visit of the delegation of the African Peace and Security Committee, and the meetings that took place with state officials, in addition to enlightenment on the repercussions of the false news published about Sudan hosting Hamas and transferring the administrative capital to River Nile State.

He pointed out that Sudan received an invitation from UNESCO to participate in the Conference of Ministers of Culture, noting the importance of this forum to raise the issue of looting and destruction of Sudanese antiquities by the rebel terrorist militia.
