NVU celebrates the inauguration and rehabilitation of departments at Al-Salam University Hospital

Nile Valley University (NVU) celebrated last Thursday the inauguration of the rehabilitated sections and launching other new sections in Um Al-Teyor University Hospital
The ceremony was attended by the representative of the Governor of River Nile State, Mr. Mostafa Al-Sharif, Minister of Culture and Information, Minister of Health in the state, leaders of the state’s health and medical work, and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of NVU.
The speakers praised the great role played by Al-Salam University Hospital in Un Al-Tiyor in receiving patients from inside and outside the state, along with the residents of the West Bank of the River Nile, through well-known specialists who represent a real addition to the hospital.
For his part, Mr. Osama Al-Labib, Executive Director of Atbara locality, announced the commitment of his locality to overcome all obstacles to the hospital’s functioning and support.
For his part, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the hospital, Sheikh Abdul Aziz Ahmed Awad affirmed that they will continue their support to the hospital in terms of rehabilitation and providing medical cadres and advanced devices that contribute to the localization of medical treatment, appreciating the NVU for its role in supporting the hospital through its societal duties.
It is to be noted that the Deputy Vice Chancellor of NVU, said during his speech that the University endeavors to make Al-Salam University Hospital to be the top hospital in the state which contributea in training the medical cadres and students of medical and health sciences faculties.
The ceremony was addressed by Mr. Mostafa Al-Sharif, Deputy Governor of River Nile State where he saluted the remarkable roles of Nile Valley University in contributing to solving community issues through scientific research, pointing out that the hospital has become a destination of patients from all parts of Sudan a matter that necessitated the support of the state government and to scoop up everything that hinders his career and work. During the ceremony, the government and private agencies that contributed to the support and development of the hospital were honored
